Fucking balloons

The only real decent highlight of the Democratic Convention other than the incredible speech by Bill Clinton and the words of soon to be Senator Obama, was the already infamous balloon drop. It's the Bono deal all over again. It's become a joke, but the coverage of that humorous moment would seem to be a little out of disbelief.

My question, how is it so news worthy if you hear someone say fuck on CNN (note how I'm not using the stupid F**k or F&@% bullshit), and they go psycho when Kerry's wife tells a reporter to shove it, but Dick Cheney, the VICE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES tells a member of the Senate on the floor to "Fuck yourself", and its okay with the hypocritical major media outlets.

It shouldn't be a deal in ANY of those cases, but if you're going to make a fuss about it, at least be consistent and not clearly influenced by the worry of defamations for "liberal propoganda" which is what any dissenting opinion of the administration seems to be labeled as. Hell, we shouldn't go fucking crazy over the word fuck, we all say it.

Why does our society keep pretending that we follow a certain set of morals, who doesn't say fuck other than probably some Jesus freak or monk who's taken a vow of silence -- oh, don't forget mutes either. It seems to be the Jesus freaks though who make the huge ruckus initially, since last I checked few monks break those vows of silence, and I don't think mute people suddenly get their voice back unless it artificially eminates from an electronic device.

The point? The only reason fuck is a big deal, which I wish it wasn't because its just another word in our language and most of us say it that have the ability (I'm not forgetting the monks or mutes, lol), is because of the Judeo-christian morals of this country, and of most of the "civilized" world. In public it's "evil" but if you say it privately around the right people, or in Dick Cheney's case because you have a media subversion machine under your control, it's okay. There seems to be a double standard there, a bit of a hypocricy no where near unusual to the regular every day antics of us human beings.

Conclusion: Fuck the fuss over Fuck because its always going to be Fuck that is fussed over until the end of our race, it's not worth getting into a fuss over though because it's just a common fucking word but we do anyway but shouldn't, but yet we do. Got a problem with it? Then, in the words of above mentioned Dick Cheney: "Go fuck yourself".
